Waiheke Island - All you need to know

This site is evidence that it is not necessary to get carried away with large, slow loading graphics to have an effective tourism website. Here, graphics have been used sparingly to enhance page content rather than for site navigation or purely aesthetic reasons. Consequently, the site's content is easy to find. Most visitor needs (accommodation, transport, activities etc.) are covered and, where content may fall a little short, external links provide more detailed information. Judges would have liked a to see a few more activities listed since there is considerably more to do on Waiheke than is mentioned here. No doubt these listings will grow over time. The information does however appear to be accurate, up-to-date and informative, and includes details of operating hours as well as pricing options.
