The Kaikoura Coast Track

This site effectively describes a coastal track which can be journeyed as a three day walk or as a two day mountain bike ride. 'Boot print' icons and cartoon penguins help reinforce the theme and certainly make the site unique. Information on what is provided, what you need and how to access to the track (including public transport) is easy to find and there's background information on Kaikoura and nearby regions too. The map of the route is clear and allows you to click on various points to view a photograph take from there. This site has been very well thought out and utilises basic web technologies very well. It's difficult to suggest improvements beyond perhaps adding some multimedia or getting the site its own domain name. (Domain registration costs have dropped signifcantly recently!).
