The Tauranga Site

This site is very ambitious in its vision to put Tauranga on the map by creating a central reference pulling in Tauranga businesses into a central "mall" of what the area offers. As a local site, the content is relevant and has the potential to be very rich. To reach the international audience however, it requires more emphasis on what Tauranga offers the international visitor; which is less about local commerce and more about the attractions and activities in the region. The site allows Tauranga businesses to register for inclusion on the site in a number of ways. A minimum amount of exposure is provided free of charge with various options for enhanced listings or links to external sites. The site is nicely presented with excellent 'montage' style headings and straightfoward navigation. Definately one to watch, as its content grows to offer a wide range of information for domestic and international visitors alike.
