A site which caters equally well for the domestic and international visitor, NZ Snowboard Tours offers detailed information on tours, equipment rental and New Zealand locations. Overall, graphics were of a good standard with a deliberate roughness which helps create a youthful and vigourous theme. The site is hosted on the same server as Auckland Central Backpackers, another recent WETA recipient, and the sites are usefully interlinked. Unfortunately, the site does seem to suffer a slight 'slowness' in server response and, although ACB offers alternative 'mirror' sites, these are not mentioned on NZ Snowboard Tours' pages. The only other suggestion for improvement is the provision of a secure environment for purchasing from the 'Steep and Cheep' snowboard shop. Even so, this is a very useful and informative site for local and international 'shredders'. |
