Good use of images and anim gifs add an "action" element to this website.
The site is operated by Longridge Park who combine their own products, i.e. jetboating and a kiwifruit farm, with those of other operators to provide a diverse range of 'combo' packages. You can choose from "The Rush", "Double Dare" and "Tripple Tremble" for activities such as whitewater rafting , helicopter and four wheel drive adventures and, kiwifruit farm tours. In a way, the site functions much like a brochure, providing an introduction to each package as well as detail of what is included e.g. hotel transfers, refreshements etc. The anim gifs however, make it a little less static although, this element could perhaps, be taken a stage further to include movies or streaming video. Already, it's a very attractive and functional website. With a few small additions, it could be a very exciting one. |
