Events Hamilton

A well presented web site which allows visitors to search for, and register, information on events. The site is easy to use through its clear navigation and the search for information on events via the diary calendar presentation is intuitive. The events are tiered with the 'feature' events foremost which is a good idea although, it could be better explained how to access the 'second tier' of events. Good, clear photographs work well to reinforce the feature events and all graphics on the site are clean and well produced. There's a growing list of Millenium events too. One judge noticed that an animated image on this page still flashed a frame for 1997 which should really be removed but doesn't deter from the content. Overall this is an excellent example of how a regional events site can be well presented as well as extremely functional.
