A very educational site. Once our judges got to the excellent information, the diagrams of animals and explanation of tasks, they were truly fascinated. Delighted also, to discover the extent to which Dolphin Explorer goes to ensure that New Zealand's marine life is both protected and, understood.
Judges did comment however, that at first glance, the appearance of the site belies the information it contains. The style seems slightly incohesive and, possibly, less lively than it could be considering the inspiring topic. One of the biggest challenges facing web sites is to get visitors to venture beyond the first page. For all the site under-promises, it certainly over-delivers. There are links to other useful resources and, a secure form to enable visitors to submit credit card details to reserve trips. A secure method of booking, we feel, is manditory if site visitors are expected to submit credit card details or other sensitive information. We've been very impressed with the quality of sites entered this year. In the face of stiff competition, Dolphin Explorer's commitment to their product and NZ's unique natural environment shines through. Make sure you visit them soon. |
