Boarderzone New Zealand

An extremely content-rich site where an avid snowboarder could no doubt spend hours finding stuff of interest. The site consistently captures enthusiasm in this sport and reflects its youthful savvy audience. It utilises online ordering, chat rooms, bulletin boards, push email, animation, streaming video, real player and real video downloads and links to other sites. It also links to a video cam, which is a great concept, but unfortunately the images haven't been kept up-to-date. The "weekly" Resorts Update too, was 11 days old when viewed, but probably recent enough for practical use. There's a shop where one can purchase snowboarding equipment and clothing via a secure server although prices were only provided in $NZ. These are very minor critiscisms however. Overall Boarderzone is an extremely useful site for both the NZ & international snowboarder.
